Delta Sigma Theta Sorority

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on the campus of Howard University in 1913 by 22 enlightened, dynamic college women who represented the epitome of sisterhood, scholarship and service.

Today, still following the defining precepts of the Founders, the sorority boasts a membership of over 250,000 women making it one of the largest African-American women's organizations in the world. The membership is dedicated to the mission and vision of our Founders by contributing countless hours of public service implemented through our Five Point Programmatic Thrust.
