LEADERSHIP CONFERENCES TEAM I CONSULTING SERVICES TEAM I LEADERSHIP SEMINARS TEAM I LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCES TEAM The Office of the Dean of Student Life sponsors a capstone leadership opportunity for senior undergraduates each year. The opportunity is a program in which a group of seniors are selected to serve as Senior Leadership Consultants. Those students chosen as Senior Leadership Consultants will have the knowledge base and skills to:
1. Plan, implement and facilitate a series of sessions and workshops for student group leaders as well as students with an interest in the subject.
2. Observe and provide recommendations through consultation with student groups and student group leaders.
3. Plan and implement leadership conferences for the JHU community. Need help planning an event? For more information about the Senior Leadership Consultants program, contact Dr. William Smedick; Director of Leadership Programs and Assessment (smedick@jhu.edu) Come test your leadership skills at the 2013 Senior Leadership Consultants (SLC) Conference! Join other student leaders in a dynamic conference that will explain the essentials of being a leader in the Hopkins community. The conference will start with a section on key leadership theories and insight from Dr. Smedick and members of the SLC team. Dinner will be provided during this time. Afterwards, participants will divide into engaging and interactive breakout sessions with other student leaders to discuss how to become and sustain effective leadership.
