Senior Leadership Consultants | Leadership Awards Program | Student Advisory Boards

The Office of the Dean of Student Life sponsors a capstone leadership opportunity for senior undergraduates each year. The opportunity is a program in which a group of seniors are selected to serve as Senior Leadership Consultants. Those students chosen as Senior Leadership Consultants will have the knowledge base and skills to:

1.  Plan, implement and facilitate a series of sessions and workshops for student group leaders as well as students with an interest in the subject.
2.  Observe and provide recommendations through consultation with student groups and student group leaders.
3.  Plan and implement leadership conferences for the JHU community.

Consulting Services Project Team

The Consulting Services Project Team aims to guide both new and established groups to become more proficient and productive.  Through consulting, coaching, and other services, our goal is to help student groups either start-up, improve themselves, and/or increase their successes.  Additionally, we would like to serve as a resource for FAQs that student group leaders often have, and we hope to facilitate communication and collaboration between and amongst groups on campus.

Civic Engagement Project Team

The Hopkins Civic Engagement Project Team intends to educate, cultivate, and motivate students and non-students.  The aim of the team is to create events that will provide students and non-students an avenue to learn about the Baltimore community through speeches, workshops, and small group breakout sessions that focus on service and the importance of giving back to the community.  The Project Team will act as an inspiration for change agents and will give people the chance to participate in the new era of nationwide responsibility and community development not only as undergraduate students, but also for years into the future.
