The brothers of the growing Alpha Chi chapter of Beta Theta Pi maintaindiverse interests. They major in Writing Sems, BME, English, ComputerScience, and a myriad of others in-between. But Betas do not limit their excellence to the classrom. They are involved everywhere on campus. They are TAs, varisty athletes, BME Society officers, IFC Executive Board members, Spring Fair chairs, and News-Letter editors, to name a few.
Beta Theta Pi has produced many outstanding men who went on to excel in various walks of life, including business (Nike founder Bill Bowerman and Walmart/Sam's Club founder Sam Walton), the arts (Composer Steven Sondheim, and actors Adam West of Batman and George Peppard of the A-Team), sports (Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt of the Phillies) and politics (Senators Richard Lugar and Mark Hatfield, and Representative Richard Gephardt). Over thirty Betas have been governors of their state. Beta has produced more Supreme Court Justices (nine) than any other fraternity.
We want to extend the hand of friendship to exemplary men, regardless of color, creed, or class, who embrace our principles. Our diversity is our strength.
