Mural Boards

To paint a mural board behind the Mattin Center, reserve the space with the Office of Student Activities staff in Mattin Center 131.

Hopkins Groups Website

You can also submit events through our Hopkins Groups page.  This calendar is more for "student group to student group" advertising, so we still recommend you post on events.jhu.edu as well.

The News-Letter

The Department of Student Life reserves a full-page in each edition of the News-Letter for student organization events.  Please send your pre-made advertisement directly to Dr. Bill Smedick.

Banners

Student groups may hang banners in the Mattin Courtyard as well as the Breezeway. Click the links to email each contact.

Flyers and Posters

This is not our preferred method of advertising, but it is still an old standby.  Bulletin boards on campus can become very crowded making it hard for your advertisements to stand out.  However, you are free to post on any of the outside public boards.  if you want to post in the Residence Halls, please bring your detailed flyer to their office in AMR I.  Never post on glass doors.

Click here to view all postering locations on campus!

Facebook and Social Media

Facebook is a great tool because you can create a group page and also post events.  In addition, YouTube, Twitter, and foursquare can also provide valuable promotion outlets.
