Credit Union T-Shirt Grants

Sponsored by the Johns Hopkins Federal Credit Union and administered by the Office of Student Activities
About the Grants:

The Credit Union T-Shirt (CUTS) Grants are sponsored by the Johns Hopkins Federal Credit Union to provide free t-shirts for a select number of student organization events. These grants assist student organizations in promoting their events, while providing a visual reminder of the Credit Union’s many financial services for JHU students.
Guidelines:
1.     The deadline to submit this grant application is February 29, 2012.
2.     Events or programs must take place between April 1, 2012 and May 10, 2012. Events should be primarily for JHU undergraduates.
3.     There is no maximum number for t-shirts you may request, but there is a 100 t-shirt minimum order. Your organization is not guaranteed the number that you request, as funds will be divided among a variety of groups.
4.     The JHFCU logo will be on the back of every t-shirt. No other image may appear on the back of the shirt.
5.      Logo designs should be finalized and in the format of a high resolution .eps. If you are unsure of how to convert files to this format, please contact the Digital Media Center. Do not submit a customink.com design. Please email your finalized logo to Janet Kirsch at jkirsch9@jhu.edu separately. We will accept .jpg, .gif, and .tif file formats for the Feb. 29th deadline. However, if selected by the committee, your logo will need to be converted to.eps by Monday, March 5th and emailed to jkirsch9@jhu.edu.
6.     Only 1 or 2 color designs for the front of the shirt will be accepted.
7.     The logo and/or message on the front must be in good taste and abide by the university’s Logo and Name Use policies as outlined in the Student Organizations Operations Guide (in short - do not distort the logo).
8.     If you received the t-shirt grant last year, you must send pictures of the 2011 t-shirts at the event to be eligible for this year’s grant.
9.     An organization may only submit one grant application.
10.  The Office of Student Activities will select the t-shirt vendor and place the order on behalf of the organization.
11.  T-shirts will be available for pick up at the JHFCU on 33rd Street. You will be notified of the specific date and time for pick up.  Please bring a car, cart or friends to help pick up/carry the t-shirts.
