I live in a 9-month lease suite/apartment. What happens if I cannot leave before the dorms close for holidays/breaks? If you are 21, you are allowed to have alcohol in your dorm room. However, if your roommate(s) is underage, the alcohol must stay in your own bedroom. It may not be in common areas such as the kitchen or living area. If found in such spaces, it will be assumed you are consuming in the presence of minors, which is a violation of University policy. What is the “three strikes” policy? This is a rumor! There are no “strikes” when it comes to dealing with violations. It is up to the discretion of the assistant director, and much consideration is used when deciding the consequences of your actions. |
