A fun and social opportunity for fitness is offered through our various group fitness classes. If you get bored on machines, like someone else to structure your workout, or don't enjoy exercising alone, group fitness classes offer you many possibilities! We offer a little bit of everything from yoga to dance to high intensity and our class schedule changes every semester.
To participate in a group fitness class, a "Fitness Class Pass" is required. Your class pass allows you to attend as many fitness classes as you like for the duration of that schedule period. Registration information is here.

Free Earth Day Vinyasa Yoga class on Thursday, April 23rd:
Be one with nature and celebrate Earth Day with an open-air Vinyasa Yoga class. Class will meet outside the Rec Center in the grassy space inside the traffic circle. This class is free for all Hopkins students, faculty and staff and appropriate for all fitness & experience levels. *Yoga mats will be offered on a first time, first served basis. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one.
Free Outdoor Yoga class to recognize the Monument Quilt on Wednesday, April 29th:
Come see The Monument Quilt! The Monument Quilt is a crowd-sourced collection of thousands of stories from survivors of rape and abuse. Portions of the quilt will be on display at the beach at the Homewood campus on Wednesday, April 29th. Class will be free and all are welcome to attend. Stay after class to take a closer look at the quilt squares. *Yoga mats will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one.
