Come make a spash with the Outdoor Pusuits WWK Crew! We paddle on various rivers and creeks in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
If you've never been kayaking before, beginner trips are for you. Those who have been on a kayaking trip with us, and are looking for a greater challenge, sign-up for an intermediate trip. Because lots of folks want to go on intermediate trips, make sure you sign-up for a beginner trip first (see requirements below). Transportation, equipment and instruction is included. *All participants are required to attend 2 Roll Sessions before attending a Whitewater Kayaking trip.
You can sign-up for trips, however, you must come to the 2 Roll Sessions before the trip.
*We require participation on a beginner trip before you are able to participate in an intermediate trip.
Roll Sessions are held at the pool in the Rec Center on Thursdays and Fridays from 7:30pm - 9:30pm.

Roll Session is open to any member of the Ralph S. O'Connor Recreation Center and/or any participant signed up for a Whitewater Kayaking or Sea Kayaking trip. Please submit the following paperwork: Medical Form and the Whitewater Kayaking Waiver. They can be found on our website . These forms must be filled out no later than Wednesday at 5:00pm the week before your trip. If they are not completed and emailed to us at op@jhu.edu, you will not be able to go on the trip, and we don't want that! Please fill them out as soon as possible. We are excited to have you join us!
