Climbing

We offer both weekend and day climbing trips throughout the semester. Our weekend trips leave around five or six on Friday and typically head to Seneca Rocks, Franklin, or the New River Gorge in West Virginia. Each of these sites have great climbs for both beginners and more advanced climbers. Day trips leave around eight in the morning and usually go to Great Falls, Virginia, Rock State Park, Maryland, or Annapolis Rocks, Maryland. Most trips are set up as top rope, but if you're looking  for more of a challenge, we also offer sport climbing and trad climbing trips.

Everyone is required to know the basics of belaying and climbing. For beginners a free course is  offered at the Homewood Recreation Center's climbing wall. If you have any questions about your skill level or about a trip, send us an e-mail!

No climbing trips available for Fall 2009
