Outdoor Pursuits

Welcome to Johns Hopkins University Outdoor Pursuits!  We want to help you get outdoors and having fun.  If you have never done one of our activities, we will teach you everything you need to know, and if you are an experienced outdoors fanatic, we have trips that will continue to challenge you.  We are building a dynamic outdoor community here in Baltimore and it would be awesome to have you join us.  Take a look through our web site, email or call if you have questions and sign up for some trips!

In the winter of 2007 we moved to a new office space. Our new location offers visitors and participants greater access to our resources: an outdoor activity library and trip reports from past trips. We are now located in the rear of the Athletic Center! Come check it out!

We would like to thank the JHU Alumni Association for their generous grants that have helped our program purchase new climbing shoes, ropes, canoe floatation, and provide scholarships to participants and instructors seeking to enhance their outdoor skills. Thank you Alumni!!
