The next president of Johns Hopkins will find a university in terrific shape. In education, in research, in patient care, Johns Hopkins has never been stronger. Our outstanding faculty and student body now work in world-class facilities. Our alumni and friends have been remarkably generous. The university's finances are solid and we have made important infrastructure improvements.
But the next president of Johns Hopkins will also find a university eager – indeed, hungry – to achieve even more. This is a university that takes seriously its mission to put knowledge to work for the good of the world.
