Description: "Population-Based Explanations for the Increase in Obesity in Western Countries." Preliminary data gathering and analysis has been undertaken to test for links between environmental (in the broad sense of all factors in people’s environments) uncertainty and the onset of the rise in obesity across local areas and countries. Andrew Cherlin has also been involved in this project.
