Dean Moyar works primarily in German Idealism (Fichte, Hegel). He also has strong interests in political philosophy (especially the theoretical foundations of liberalism) and in ethics (including the role of the first-person in moral reasoning). Currently he is working on a study of Hegel's theory of conscience.
