New for this year, we have streamlined the orientation registration process. So much so, that separate registration for the Undergraduate Orientation program is not necessary. When a student is confirmed for the entering freshman class, his or her enrollment information is shared with the Office of Student Life and the Orientation program. Every freshman will participate in the Orientation program. When members of the Class of 2015 check in on their assigned move-in day (either August 24 or August 25), each will be assigned a Peer Ambassador. Peer Ambassadors are upperclassmen that volunteer to faciliate the week-long Orientation program. Peer Ambassador groups will meet several times throughout Orientation Week, and work through a curriculum designed to help them navigate Johns Hopkins student services, get involved in student life, learn about campus culture, and meet fellow 2015 Blue Jays! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Undergraduate Orientation at orientation@jhu.edu. |
