A Note From The Chairs

Welcome to the website of the 2013 Milton S. Eisenhower Symposium! Founded in 1967, the Symposium remains one of Johns Hopkins University's premier student run organizations. The theme for the 2013 Symposium is “Learning from Experience: The Path Ahead for Generation Y.” Our generation has widely been described as narcissistic, entitled and irreligious at a time when great strength is needed to overcome global political, economic, and social struggles. We hope to explore how our generation might learn from past problems in order to overcome present and future challenges. We very much look forward to hearing from a wide range of speakers this fall who will surely offer a unique and deeply insightful contribution to the issues at hand.
