READ ON JOIN US AT THE NICHOLS HOUSE, WEDNESDAY, OCT 8 AT 10 AM FOR COFFEE AND CONVERSATION About the Club We are Johns Hopkins women who meet for intellectual stimulation, social, service and support activities. Our members come from every school of the University and all Johns Hopkins Medicine entities.
**Current interest groups include the Book group, German group, French group, Italian group and Sports group. A Spanish cuisine group is in the planning stages. A Beginner's Bridge group needs a few more players. We welcome your participation, ideas and energy. It is easy to join the club. Just download the MEMBERSHIP form and send the completed form with your dues and donations to the attention our Treasurer, Carol Rum at P. O. Box 4760, Baltimore, MD 21211. Our April 10th Tour Hopkins walk around the Homewood campus with Cindy Kelly to view the beautiful sculptures and monuments was a phenomenal event. At our March 3, 2008 luncheon members raised $500 to support the REACH OUT AND READ (ROR) program at the Johns Hopkins Childrens Center's Harriet Lane Clinic. Dr. Kristina Johnson, the university's new provost, spoke to the group about her vision for Johns Hopkins University. Our first event of the year was a picnic at Oregon Ridge Park. Our Fall Coffee on October 10th at Nichols House on the Homewood Campus was a huge success as was the tour of the Enoch Pratt Free Library Central Branch in November. PLEASE JOIN |
