Cryptographic Schemes and protocols

At Hopkins, we are actively researching both the theoretical foundations and the practical applications of cryptography.  Our goal is to explore the boundaries of what is possible and to develop computing and communication systems that are provably secure, highly efficient, and creatively solve today's real-world problems.

Topics of particular interest are anonymous authentication, electronic cash, pervasive computing and communications, program obfuscation, secure and private data storage, and specialized encryption and signature schemes.

We work in close collaboration with other members of the JHU Information Security Institute to develop well-rounded computer security solutions.
