Dear Students:

Welcome and congratulations!  We are pleased you will be attending the Information Security Institute.  We believe you will find your time at the Institute very rewarding and we look forward to helping you reach all of your educational goals.

When you arrive at the campus in August, please call Deborah Higgins (410-516-8521) to arrange a meeting time if you would like to be advised and registered early.  Please don't come to the office without an appointment as she may not be there or be at another meeting.  Ms. Higgins is going to try to do advisement in groups so she would like the opportunity to schedule you with other students if possible.  If you are an international student you must first report to the International Student and Scholars office.  You will find directions and contact information at this site:  http://www.jhu.edu/~isss/

The mandatory orientation will be on Tuesday, September 1st at 9:00 a.m. in the Wyman Park Conference Room, Wyman Park Building, fourth foor Room 421.  Breakfast will be available at the orientation.  All new students must attend!!  You will at this time meet the Director, faculty and staff.  You will also receive information about courses, lab accounts and other important matters.

You must come to this orientation whether or not you have already registered and recieved your JHU ID card.  If you have not been advised by Deborah Higgins, Program Manager, you may be advised during this orientation and register immediately afterwards.  We will have student mentors that will give you a tour of the campus and answer any questions you may have at that time.
