20th Century African American History
The History Department at Johns Hopkins University announces a search in 20th-century African American history at the rank of assistant professor. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in history--or expect to complete the Ph.D. by July 1, 2008 The candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses for both the History Department and the interdisciplinary Program run by the Center for Africana Studies and all courses will be cross-listed in both programs. The teaching load is two courses per semester. Candidates should send a letter of application, cv and three letters of recommendation to Gabrielle M.
