Minor in French Cultural Studies


Requirements consist of successful completion of six courses beyond the Intermediate or Advanced Intermediate level (210.201-202 or 210.203-204), including two semesters of Conversation and Composition (210.301-302), one semester of La France Contemporaine (211.401-402), and three other advanced courses in the 210.300-400 series and 211.300-400 series, or a combination of courses from the 210.300-400 series and 211.300-400 series with one or two semesters of Introduction à la littÃrature franÃaise (212.201-202).

  1. 210.301 and 210.302 French Conversation and Composition
  2. 211.401 or 211.402 La France Contemporaine
  3. 3 courses from 210.300-400 and 211.300-400 series OR 3 courses from 210.300-400, 211.300-400, and 212.201-202 (i.e. one from each)
