| Freshman Advising > Registration > Registration Instructions | - Complete the first three steps on the Freshman To Do List. If you have not done so, go to http://web.jhu.edu/freshman_advising/todo
- Beginning July 1st at 7:00 am, through the summer, the Registrar’s Web service will be available for freshmen to register for classes 24/7.
- Go to http://my.jhu.edu. Enter your JHED LID and password. Press Login.
- Go to the New Students area of myJohnsHopkins portal.
- Click on the link to “Online Registration in the upper left side of the screen, beneath the “New Students” tab.
- Select GO RIGHT TO LOG-IN (under On-line Registrar Services on right).
- Review the statements and press CONTINUE.
- Review and update your information on the Student Data Form and SUBMIT. Verify that information and SAVE. Changes to your Name, Social Security number, Date of Birth, Major, Visa Status, Citizenship, or Ethnicity, cannot be made on Web Services. - At the Main Menu, click on the REGISTER button.
- Follow the directions at the bottom of the Register screen. If necessary, click on the Course Schedule at the bottom of this page for reference. SUBMIT your course selection.
- The courses selected will appear on the Registration Summary. Choose an action (register, add, waitlist, remove) in the drop down box and SUBMIT.
- To check your course schedule for conflicts, click on Sched Conflicts.
- You are registered when you see “Success: you have completed your registration”.
- Important last step: Print the Confirmation/Schedule for reference and receipt!!
Check your Confirmation/Schedule prior to the first day of classes (September 6th) for room locations.
