Eric Nie Mr.Nie works as a project manager at StormCenter Communications, providing environmental consulting to clients in the weather media industry. He also serves as board member to the Chinese-American Oceanic and Atmospheric Association. In 2003, he received his Masters in Computational Science from George Mason University. He is a graduate student in the MS in Finance at Carey Business School, and also a PhD candidate at George Mason University.

Paul graduated with his MBA in finance from Johns Hopkins University in 2007. He is the editorial director of the Financial Publications Group at Eagle Publishing in Washington, D.C. In that capacity, Paul edits investment newsletters, time-sensitive trading alerts and other reports written by investment professionals who have unique strategies for outperforming the market. Paul has a strong interest in developing financial modeling skills through the Finance Club, as well as in creating opportunities for those interested in equity research to further hone their professional capabilities. Paul has a bachelor’s degree in general studies from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in journalism from Michigan State University.

Mr. McCombs has real estate, corporate finance and international experience underscored by a Carey Business School MBA from Johns Hopkins University, an MA of Urban Affairs and Public Policy and a Spanish Language Studies certificate from the University of Barcelona, Spain. He has a demonstrated track record and hands-on expertise developed in real estate, corporate and economic development finance, start-up, wireless telecom, staffing.

Marisa Greenwald is pursuing her double masters in business administration and communications at Johns Hopkins.  With considerable experience in politics and the government, Marisa has worked for Senator Hillary Clinton, the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, and the White House Communications Office.  She has also written two publications, one as an honors thesis on block grants and the other as a multivariate analysis on federal funding as a stimulus to private donations.  Graduating from Cornell University in 2006 with an honors degree in government, she has since been working on Capitol Hill for Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank.  Marisa currently serves as Assistant to the Chief of Staff for Congressman Frank.

Zenora Khan holds a position in Business Management at Northrop Grumman, with responsibilities in financial management, cost control, and program reporting.  Previously, she held increasingly responsible finance roles at Hughes Network Systems and Lockheed Martin.  Her experience also includes various process improvement projects, performing a key role on a financial software system (SAP) implementation, and developing and documenting financial procedures and reporting models. Zenora earned a certificate in information systems from George Washington University, a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Maryland, and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University.  She is a member of the Capital Chapter of Women In Defense and the National Defense Industrial Association.

Dr. Michael G. McMillan, CPA, CFA, CIC, holds a Ph.D. in accounting and finance from George Washington University, an MBA from Stanford University, and a BA in Economics and Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania.  He has been a full-time accounting professor and coordinator of the accounting program at the Carey Business School since 2003.  Prior to pursuing his academic career, Dr. McMillan was a securities analyst and portfolio manager at Bailard, Biehl, and Kaiser, and Merus Capital Management.  His research interests are in the area of capital markets and financial statement analysis.
