She has also written two publications, one as an honors thesis on block grants and the other as a multivariate analysis on federal funding as a stimulus to private donations. Graduating from Cornell University in 2006 with an honors degree in government, she has since been working on Capitol Hill for Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank. Marisa currently serves as Assistant to the Chief of Staff for Congressman Frank. |

Previously, she held increasingly responsible finance roles at Hughes Network Systems and Lockheed Martin. Her experience also includes various process improvement projects, performing a key role on a financial software system (SAP) implementation, and developing and documenting financial procedures and reporting models. Zenora earned a certificate in information systems from George Washington University, a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Maryland, and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
