- To increase the visibility and understanding of various careers in finance, including – but not limited to – investment banking, research, portfolio management, commercial banking, corporate finance, trading, sales and financial planning.
- To assist members in pursuing careers in various areas in finance.

- To educate Club members about all aspects of modern day finance and discuss current issues and applications.
- To provide members with information about, and access to, the world's premier corporate financial institutions.
- To offer unique and exciting networking and advanced training opportunities.

- Provide opportunities through mentoring and networking with finance business leaders.
- Facilitate interaction among all Club members.
- Promote the finance program throughout the Johns Hopkins University and the finance business community.
