General weather notes

  • Every effort will be made to hold the ceremony as planned, rain or shine.
  • For your comfort, you are encouraged to dress for the weather. This might mean a raincoat or a hat and sunblock, depending on the forecast.
  • We have air-conditioned webcasting viewing locations should you decide that you, or a member of your party, will be too uncomfortable sitting outside. See here for more details.
  • If we proceed with the normal ceremony and conditions deteriorate, we may choose to abbreviate the ceremony and stop calling graduates across the stage so that we can conclude quickly and everyone can move to safety.

Alternate Weather Plans

  • If it is determined that proceeding with the ceremony as scheduled is not safe, we will announce one of the below plans.

Change in lineup locations/No change in start time
