Barry Gordon MD, PhD
Therapeutic Cognitive Neuroscience Professor
Professor, Neurology with Joint Appointment in Cognitive Science
Dr. Gordon provides clinical consultation and ongoing care to individuals who might particularly benefit from his special areas of expertise in behavioral and cognitive neurology.
If you reside in the United States, requests for appointments should be made through the Department of Neurology Referral Coordinator, Ms. Susan Jaeger, at (410) 955-9442. Inquiries and medical records should be faxed to the Referral Coordinator at (410) 955-9550. Ms. Jaeger is familiar with Dr. Gordon’s expertise and staffing, and with those of the other 120+ clinicians in the Neurology Department and its associated specialities. Therefore, Ms. Jaeger and her staff will be able to help you identify the physician most appropriate for your needs within the Department of Neurology. Individuals residing in the United States are seen in Dr. Gordon's offices at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD.
If you live outside of the United States, you can be seen either at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, or in virtually any other country. Individuals residing outside the United States may first contact Dr. Gordon, but ultimately need to make arrangements through Johns Hopkins Medicine International.
In order to help ensure privacy, medical information should only be transmitted by voice, fax, or hard copy. Please do not assume that e-mails are secure. Also, by law, Dr. Gordon cannot make specific comments or recommendations about anyone who is not his patient. Therefore, while he tries to answer all inquiries, he is limited in what information he can provide for many of the requests he receives.
Dr. Gordon is on the full-time Medical Staff of The Johns Hopkins Hospital, and on the Courtesy Staff of The Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, in both cases through the respective Departments of Neurology.
