University-wide coordination is provided by a contact person who works directly with the above mentioned school representatives to advise and support their respective substantive academic program changes and related proposal planning, reviews and submissions. Externally, on matters involving substantive academic program change this individual is the university’s primary liaison with MICUA, MHEC, MSCHE, DC/ELC, SCHEV and similar authorities; JHU’s accreditation liaison officer with MSCHE; a member of the MHEC Task Force to Examine Academic Program Approval Process and Regulations; and is also a member and Commissioner of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (2009-2011).
