Digital Initiatives

The Office of the Provost coordinates universitywide initiatives in digital education by working with academic leaders, faculty, students, and other stakeholders across Johns Hopkins to:

  • provide expertise, advice and recommendations on university-wide academic, policy and operational issues related to online education and the use of digital technologies to improve education outcomes

  • share ideas and best practices on the use of these technologies inside and outside the classroom

  • identify obstacles to the use of digital technologies in education and solutions for addressing them

  • increase engagement of faculty across the university on the future of the use of digital technologies to improve education at Johns Hopkins

  • provide guidance to the university on technologies and partnerships that can enhance our deployment of digital technologies inside and outside the classroom.
