Julia B. "Julie" Morgan
Assistant Secretary of the Board of Trustees

Ms. Morgan is an Assistant Secretary of the Board of Trustees.  In this role, she drafts the minutes of the board and Executive Committee meetings; prepares talking points for the President’s report to the board;  staffs the Committee on Trusteeship, Nominations and By-Laws and presidential search committees; plans and manages the annual orientation program for new Trustees; edits and oversees the publication of the Trustee Handbook; coordinates the committee assignment process; and drafts board communications.  For the President, she drafts correspondence and other communications.

Julie Morgan has served in her current position since 1990 and was previously University Archivist for 13 years.  She has been with Johns Hopkins since her graduation from the university in 1976, with a B.A. in Humanistic Studies, with a focus on medieval history, art, languages and literature; she also holds an M.L.A. from Johns Hopkins.
