Catherine Pierre is director of the Johns Hopkins Publishing Group and editor of Johns Hopkins Magazine. Before coming to Johns Hopkins in 2003, she was the manager of public relations at the Walters Art Museum, an internationally renowned institution located in Baltimore; prior to that, she spent five years as an editor at Baltimore magazine, covering arts and culture, health, and other topics of general interest. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature from the University of Maryland and a master’s in English literature from Indiana University.
