Prior to joining Hopkins in August of 2004, Beth spent 12 years in the United States Senate; eight as Republican Chief Counsel to the Committee on the Budget (serving Chairman Pete Domenici and Chairman Don Nickles) and four in the Office of the Senate Parliamentarian. Before working on the Hill, Beth served as a judicial law clerk in the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Maryland, in the Office of the Attorney General of Maryland and for the Department of Legislative Reference. Beth graduated from the Villanova University School of Law with a Juris Doctor and was admitted to the practice of law in the states of New York and Maryland in 1991. | Chris Current is the Assistant to the Director for Government Relations at the Applied Physics Laboratory. He has been at APL almost 14 years and is the first full-time person at APL to formalize relations with both the federal Executive and Legislative branches. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, Chris served in submarines in the Navy, was a program manger for several major DoD acquisitons, and was Navy Congressional Liasion for research and development matters.
