Academics

The Montgomery County Campus is home to four Johns Hopkins schools that offer programs on a part-time basis.

Carey Business School
Offers one of the largest part-time MBA programs in the Baltimore-Washington area, as well as degree and certificate programs in finance, marketing, real estate, organization development, and information and telecommunications systems.

The Carey Business School now offers the one-year INNoVATE program for post-doctoral fellows and research scientists in the life sciences who are interested in bringing innovations to the marketplace and want to launch a company of their own. Learn more.

School of Education
Offers classes in teacher preparation, counseling, school administration, technology for educators, reading, and special education. Programs offered on this campus include the Professional Immersion partnerships with Montgomery County Public Schools.

Whiting School of Engineering - Engineering for Professionals
Engineering for Professionals offers courses in 14 graduate engineering program areas. Several programs can be completed entirely at the Montgomery County campus including computer science, information assurance, information systems and technology, systems engineering, technical management, and electrical and computer engineering. A number of courses are available online -- with more under development. Two programs are now offered entirely online: Bioinformatics, and Environmental Planning and Management.

Zanvyl Krieger School of Arts & Sciences - AAP
Through the Center for Biotechnology Education, KSAS offers five bioscience degrees: master of science in biotechnology, master of science in bioinformatics, master of science in bioscience regulatory affairs, masters in biotechnology enterprise and entrepreneurship and a joint master of science in biotechnology–MBA degree.

OSHER at JHU program
The Campus also is home to the Osher at JHU program. Dedicated to lifelong learning, OSHER at JHU enhances the lives of active semi-retired and retired individuals in the Baltimore / Washington community with classes that explore the worlds of art, history, philosophy, literature, politics, and more.
