Raising academic achievement requires consistent, concerted effort from well-trained, adequately supported educational professionals.  TDMG provides resources, research-based strategies, and ongoing professional development to help students achieve at world-class levels.

About Students

  • We believe all students can succeed given the appropriate support. With detracking of instruction, all students have access to challenging academics. Elective extra-help labs support those who need additional help.

About Teachers

About Curricula and Instruction

  • Standards-based, research-based, culturally relevant curricula develop higher order thinking skills and engage students in challenging, active learning tasks.
  • Embedded cooperative learning strategies are developmentally appropriate and provide explicit instruction in social skills vital to lifelong success.

About the Learning Environment

About Assessments and AYP

  • Consistent implementation of challenging curricula and instruction rather than “teaching to the test” leads to significant academic improvement as reflected in standardized assessments.
