Beyond The Wire: A Baltimore School Changes the Channel

While the celebrated HBO series turns its lens on the city's failing urban schools, one high school there strives for success. That school is Baltimore Talent Development High School.

Report by WestEd for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation features Bridgeton High School among schools that overcome barriers to learning. Bridgeton was cited for its ninth-grade academy, part of the Talent Development model.
